Full Description
The home
This is a standalone house inside a secure, gated complex, with its own private entrance. With no neighbors on the other side of the wall, it feels like a private hideaway in the middle of the city, while downtown, the Gaslamp Quarter and the Zoo are only a short drive away.
Sleeping
Bedroom: a plush queen bed with high-thread-count white linens, extra pillows, blackout shades and a ceiling fan.
Living room: a stylish sofa that pulls out to a queen bed.
Kitchen
The full-size kitchen is set up for real cooking, with a 5-burner gas stove and oven, a full fridge and freezer, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a Keurig coffee station and a professional knife set, plus cookware, plates and utensils for three. There’s no dishwasher.
Living & working
The bright, open living area has a 50-inch smart TV and a split AC and heating unit that keeps the living space comfortable year-round (fans are provided for the bedroom). Wi-Fi runs at 100+ Mbps, fast enough for Zoom calls and large uploads, and there’s a dedicated workspace. The washer and dryer are right in the home. Board games and books are on hand for quiet nights in.
The neighborhood
A grocery store and a much-loved local taco truck are steps from the complex entrance. Grant Hill Park is about a 5-minute walk, the trolley is about 10 minutes on foot, and the San Diego Zoo, Petco Park, the Convention Center, the Gaslamp Quarter and the airport are all 5 to 15 minutes away by car.
Guest access
You’ll have the entire home to yourself. Check in any time after 4:00 PM with the smart lock. Your free dedicated parking spot is in the alley behind the rear gate (uncovered), and there’s free street parking nearby too.
Good to know
The plumbing is sensitive, so please flush only toilet paper. A bin is provided for everything else.
Security cameras cover the front and back gates and the parking lot only. There are no cameras inside the home.
A Pack ’n Play and high chair are available on request for a small fee.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is absolutely beautiful—so cute, warm, and incredibly cozy from the moment you walk in. The check-in process was incredibly smooth with zero issues, and the property felt very safe and well secured. The bed was amazing; the sheets and comforter were so soft and high-quality.
Ahmed was a very responsive host. The check in instructions provided were clear and allowed me to check in smoothly. The kitchen was clean with basic cookware, utensils and seasonings provided! Free parking with a dedicated lot was definitely great! Overall I had a great 2 week stay.
We had a wonderful stay! The place smelled amazing as soon as we walked in, which made it feel clean and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed, parking was super convenient, and the location near downtown San Diego made getting around easy. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience.
